About Pao Can

Good ingredients shouldn't
only ever be sold as ingredients.

Founded in 2011 in Xinshi, Tainan, Pao Can Biomedical has spent over a decade on one task: turning Taiwanese agricultural materials and global functional botanicals into products people are willing to take daily — and confident enough to trust.

Our Story

Why this company exists

In our early years we kept seeing the same picture. Farmers grew something excellent but could only sell it at raw-material prices. Brand owners had strong ideas but, without regulatory and process knowledge, spent their budgets in the wrong places. Both sides worked hard; no one connected them.

Pao Can Biomedical set out to be that connection. We put R&D, manufacturing, quality control and regulatory review under one roof, so a farmer's harvest can become a product and a brand owner's idea can survive market scrutiny.

That is also why we speak differently from a conventional contract manufacturer. When a project's cost structure doesn't hold up, or a claim carries compliance risk, we say so directly. It may cost us an order in the short term; what it buys is a relationship that never turns around and harms the client.

"From concept to consumer, we deliver outstanding herbal products." It is the first line on our website, and the acceptance standard we hold every project to.

The Team

People stand behind the checks, not just paperwork

Pao Can Biomedical is led by certified food technologists, with R&D, quality control and client service working in the same place. The judgement you hear in a meeting is the standard actually applied on the line.

Managing Director

Hsin-Hung Lin — Managing Director / Certified Food Technologist

PhD in food science and a licensed practising food technologist, who also serves as Principal of the Food Safety Da Joint Food Technologists Office and Secretary-General of the Food Technologists Association of the R.O.C. His work spans food safety regulation, senior and functional food development, and product innovation combining traditional herbal medicine with local Taiwanese ingredients.

At Pao Can Biomedical his role is not only management but risk judgement on every project: whether a formulation can be made, whether a claim can be written, and whether the cost structure justifies the client's investment.
